This is truly worrying. We appear to have a 'great leader' who makes all the decisions and discounts any other views. Next we will have a fancy salute to a fancy sign..something like an * that we all hysterically curtsey to.....Herr Swiney might even grow a tache and tell us it is a 1,000 year union.

It's been obvious for some time that we have a traitor at the wheel. The word INDEPENDENCE appears to have been erased from the SNP dictionary. ..for 'technical problems' read lies. A member led democracy is not required... so members not required....meaning the SNP inner sanctum could find themselves abandoned as Scots vote with their feet.

Here's Alba's chance at last! They could come in from the cold and put Scotland's INDEPENDENCE front and centre of their party's manifesto and actually fight for it.... One can dream...as the nightmare of Farage rises up and independence slips further and further away.

For OUR Scotland and her weans.

I freely admit that I have never been a member of any political party but if I were I would vehemently oppose any move to dilute or remove the democratic vote and voice of the membership

I was a trade union shop steward of the TGWU within the aviation industry and our members were facing problems with the management of our employers, they refused to sit down for discussions or negotiations , I called for a paid official of the union to attend in order to ameliorate the situation , the official stated that they were extremely busy with other things and that we would have to deal with the situation ourselves as there was no one available to attend , I informed the official that that was NOT acceptable and that if someone from the union did not attend that day I would inform the members and that we would CANCEL our membership and our contributions en masse and we would join with another union who WOULD represent us , I further stated that I would publicly inform other TGWU members of other departments and companies and relay the message that OUR union was TOO BUSY to represent us , needless to say a union official attended and we were NEVER fobbed off again

I find it incomprehensible that members of a political party some of whom have been members for decades and paid their dues religiously and dedicated copious amounts of time and energy as activists to get these fuckwits elected would stand idly by and let these dribbling incompetents DESTROY any semblance of democracy in what was a democratic member led party and ultimately DESTROY the party , ALL it takes is for the branch officers to RALLY the membership and inform the hierarchy that the constitution will NOT be touched or tampered with AND Angus Robertson's undemocratic previous changes will be removed or membership subs will be stopped through resignations, there has to be a time when loyal members realise that these people are USING THEM
