" It is meant to give the impression that when it comes to the constitutional issue, he’s on it. It would be more accurate to say he’s at it.". LOL :)

That prepositional switcheroo says it all, P. My interest in snP/Swinney is purely comedic/satirical at this stage. One aspect of which is wondering not only how intelligence-insultingly ridiculous the latter will get, rather, how much MORE intelligence-insultingly.......also how head-bangingly - let's be charitable and say.....gullible, the snP Membership/Voting Block ( sic ) CAN be. I reckon both partners in this folie a deux have more reserves of ridiculousness & " gullibility " than meets the cataract-blighted eye and will deploy them when " the time is right ", which, paradoxically, will coincide with being " now is not the time " time.

So, what's likely to happen when these two ( only superficially ) opposed slices of time meet?

Ah! to have any likely-to-be-accurate prediction of this Time Clash we would have to have access to Swinney's Secret Plan, but, n here's the rub(ber), in a Borgesian rug/reality-pulling twist, we can be 99.9% certain SUCH A PLAN DOES NOT EXIST!

Just like Sturgeon's Secret Plan never existed and no doubt Flynn/McAllan/Gilruth/Wee Willie Winkie's/Florinda Hollyhock Whimperwool's ( formerly Tam Broon ) Future Secret Plan/s won't exist either: except maybe in the pages of The Notional

Another piece of precedent to support the contention which SNP appear to endorse that Scots are not sovereign and our so called " inalienable right " is nothing of the kind.

Know nothing about age verification hurdle...didn't realise you had to be a certain age to read my comments...can't change my comments...that would be my freedom of speech curtailed....

anyway it was only my usual rant about Scotlands search for freedom via a will o the wisp and my answer to the problem...the Irish way...ahh that's what did it I presume..ERADICATE ALL WHO STAND IN OUR WAY TO INDEPENDENCE...how's that? Thank you for enjoying my comments..

For OUR Scotland and her terribly well spoken homicidal weans...

I read the motion and noted the same i.e. Swinney's not even proposing to initiate a S30 request in Holyrood that his pre-election 'commitment' implied but going to ask Westminster to do it instead.

In reality, as you say, it would have made no difference as either route grants the British a veto over the process and, therefore, over Scottish sovereignty.

I like your summary of what John Swinney is really up to and think that you may be able to use this to show the yawning chasm between the dishonesty of the SNP's posturing Section 30 approach and the credibility and integrity of the Manifesto For Independence & Scottish UDI process thus:

SNP: At it!

NSP: On it!!!

Quite right Peter.

There is another point , just like the parliamentary long grass.

A date, three years forward, as we know a referendum isn't binding , the only binding vote is by the Scots , and let's say a fortnight's time.

It all slots into a pre general election by the Israeli puppet's

A Section 30 referendum isn't binding – unless we lose. A proper constitutional referendum is always binding.

You have just rained on my parade Peter! Here was I thinking that Holy Wullie would sort out all Scotland's problems..when in fact HE is the problem. Intending to BEG permission of the shitty foreign english if we can pretty please have a something or other that still hasn't been drawn up but is still in the development stage...then ratified by aliens followed by a long wash cycle ..before coming back for another vote that will ensure bu**er a'...have I got that right?

I'm afraid it's back to... the kill the foreign english b*st*rds ...or sit around for the next 50 years contemplating our navel...my lochaber is startlingly sharp...

(I noticed that Fiona Bruce has let us know that a generation is 20 or 30 years...my message tae hur is don't come here hen...)

For OUR Scotland and her snarling weans...

Can you tone down your comment and re-post? I enjoy your comments but I refuse to go through the 'age verification' crap to access it.

Cheers.
