OT. Wake up Scotland at last! Rich dudes funding private justice, something years ago I'd have done if I won the euromillions. Justice really isn't available to the likes of me. I have no opinion or axe to grind on the actual issue, but it does need chasing. I was one of the first to give a tenner to Salmon's court action over the initial obviously bungled inquiry - which he rightly won.

Good effort de-americanising. Doing the same. Waiting for Huawei to sell phones with Harmony OS here. Hardware and software entirely outwith the orbit of West security apparatus.

I hope your physical ailments as well as your IT gremlins get sorted out soon Peter.

Apart from the obvious benefits getting fully back online venting your fury in your blogs and podcasts is no doubt essential psychological therapy.

So haste ye back.

You're not wrong about the therapeutic benefits of online venting.

If your article had gone on any longer ye d've hud me sobbin'. All yer medical issues come wi' age ..it could be worse..ye could be immortal. Jist think aboot that fur a minute and then boak. Seein' and listenin' tae a' that crap FOREVER...an' bein' over the border frae foreign english sh*te..FOREVER! It disnae bear thinkin' aboot...

However while you've been destroying yer IT set up...I've gradually become aware of a slight ramping up of pressure on anything Scottish that hasn't got the foreign english sh*tty flag oan it. It's incredible how the foreign english sh*tty media twist something.. anything.. to pit our nation doon. Add in quisling turds like alexander &co and the battle lines are drawn..till election time...

The Bruce and his handsome supersonic brave Scots..(that would be US.).facing aff agin' the ugly deformed foreign english sh*te and oor ain home grown demented quisling turds ..alexander..jack.. etc..ye ken them..they smell o' deceit..corruption an' a hatred for Scotland. Fit only tae be pit doon. Humanely I hasten tae add...preferably slowly as well...( the polis won't let me..they've got a foreign english head of Police Scotland)

So whit's been happenin' while you've been havin' a wee breakdoon.....(I don't do breakdoons ..I give 'em.)

Well the Queen Lizzie....Sturgeon and sidekick....Holy Wullie wantin' tae take complete control of oor railways...but NEVER a mention o' takin' complete control of OOR country.

If I hud my way these precious lands would be a no go area fur the foreign english sh*te and any Scot foolish enough tae vote for foreign english Deform would be deported tae foreign sh*tty england..FOREVER!

Other than that nothin' much has been happenin'..jist the usual ongoing betrayal of Scotland...

For OUR Scotland and her weans.

You're right about the age thing, Catherine. I am observing the accelerating breakdown of an organism which has outlived its usefulness. Genetically speaking, of course. I certainly wasn't looking for sympathy. Generally, when I mention my ailments, it's as an opportunity to praise our health service which, contrary to the image portrayed by the media, is superb.

Every time I go to the Community Care & Treatment Centre I wonder at the fact that the people working there genuinely care about the wellbeing of complete strangers. It's not just them doing a job. There's more to it.

Oor NHS are jist puir dead brilliant. ..as you have found out. So far God hasn't found me..but having total strangers care enough to look after me if I need help is incredible. When I was in Peru if you dropped ill ( or dead) in the street...folk just walked past...Concerned I pointed out someone lying in the street to my companion....'Oh the nuns will get them at some point...they are too poor to have health insurance...' She was totally unconcerned.

We take our health workers for granted ...and the free prescriptions!

Of course I mean oor brilliant SCOTTISH NHS...always Scotland first...always..always...

For OUR Scotland and her puir dead brilliant weans.

The joys.

I did manage to remap my dud a and s key to 2 keys (probably a bit of trapped tissue) to the right of the space bar including the Ctrl right for s and some other key for a (covered with sticky a and s labels). For some reason Alt Gr doesn't take remapping. And reinstate my Alt F4 to be close or the power off menu rather than Fn volume up. Apparently laptop manufacturers think we spend all our time turning the volume up or down or muting it. Langers.

Oh and finding the old unused Trust multi power adapter for the Toshiba laptop which works mostly - I guess a loose or wiggly power connector on / inside the laptop but a better adaptor. The Windows 7 Toshiba is the backup for all my old XP software I currently run on the old XP tower (and old games like AOM or Railroad Tycoon)). As the new tower I built to run up to date Windows I put in an AMD processor that unfortunately turned out to be undocumented incompatible with the XP emulator.

Fucking computers.
