People are pledging money to Tommy Sheridan and other Alba NEC members but they should be careful as a court room financial battle is looming and Alba has little parliamentary funds to fall back on.

If the SNP get a majority prompting Swinney to ask for permission to hold a referendum this very act would acknowledge
Westminster as having a veto over Scottish popular sovereignty.
As Peter points out that would set a precedent which would act as an additional obstacle for a process that excluded Westminster influence, interference and involvement.
Actually, it is both the best and the worst. In the absence of a genuine pro-independence party we could support, the best we can hope for is a nominally pro-independence parliament. Which inevitably means an SNP government.
It is also the worst of things as it means a Scottish Government intent on a course of action which will do serious harm to Scotland's cause.
It does seem, Peter, that you - as well as a very few select others - have been pushing the brown stuff up hill with respect to countering the claims of the 'Both Votes' SNP brigade and the Alba Party 'Supermajoritarians' as well as some other micro-players who also assert that they have their own magic formula that will unlock the door to freedom for Scotland.

I watched the debate in Holyrood on American military using our airports to attack others.....really IMPRESSED by the Greens ( who had brought the motion)..'stand up for Scotland' their mantra. I watched the opposition...corrupt... nasty ..infantile creeps..trying to belittle the opposition..shouting out..giggling at each other...the usual suspects....they vote to keep Scotland a prisoner in this 300 year toxic union....Ross Greer was outstanding....Cabinet Secretary Robertson made a devious little speech..not impressed.

Once it has manifestly failed and seen as a dead ending cul de sac hopefully the purge and direction change will come. Sadly the price to be paid for this will be further exploitation of our resources by WM and more of the same abuse and decay caused by our continued colonised status. 😢

Medical issues make the return of the Poud Malcontent unlikely for the foreseeable future. But I am looking at ways of working around the appointments feor treatment, test , and whatever.
