I have constantly asked myself how can anyone who had half a population supporting them mess it up, if someone had said after the referendum in 2026 we'd still be in this union and support for the SNP would be at 29% and Independence at 55% I would have said don't be daft that's impossible and yet its true. Which you have to conclude everything that's happened has been done by design and its all done to a handful of people Swinney, Sturgeon and a small group of others.
We hear a lot of rotten things about Salmond about how he used to shout and ball at those under his command as it happens when your a leader this is part of the job and if you don't like it then do something about it and yet those who complained didn't do it when he was leader no they waited until he was down, kind of sums them up doesn't it.
None of these people past or present in the SNP could light a candle to what Salmond done or achieved.

You can predict what's going to happen while the SNP is still running Scotland and the movement 1 a Westminster election promise on Indy but nothing will happen after the election 2 the next Holyrood election in 2031 Swinney will stand down but it would have been thought on Indyref2 again but the new leader will say he needs time to formulate a strategy on Indyref2 while here comes 2036, the question is how long are we going to be conned by the party and the people running it?
The only people who can make a change is the SNP membership and the only advise they are taken and listening to, is The National, Riddock, POP, DUG etc sooner or later even the membership has got to realize how glaikit they are, I hope and rid us of the unionist in the SNP.

The front page of the National today is brilliant..yet I was the only one picking it up and the pile of Nationals had been put down on the bottom shelf..out of sight...not now..they are on the top shelf..still no takers.

Swinney is rather well protected. He is effectively shielded from all criticism. The National has a piece on the first hundred days of Plaid Cymru. I've seen no mention of Swinney's first hundred days' promises lying in tatters.
There has been little doubt that there has been an increase in both the volume and intensity of comments expressing dissatisfaction with the total lack of progress on Scotland's Cause over the last dozen years.
However, I guess an answer of 'Yes' to your question will depend on whether those that have been gulled, conned, and led up the garden path onto the road to nowhere have the courage to recognise and admit that they have been so tricked.

I was at a judicial hearing yesterday and they made it in NO uncertain terms did not want to be dragged into a case that due process were possibly implications not fully thought through And perhaps westminster got it wrong
