Well, the latest opinion polls still have the SNP at around 30% or less on the list, and the problem is to get an overall majority they'll need list seats. Constituency is maybe 39%, 40% but not enough to do the job. Really it would need them to be around 45% on both.
So basically speaking the SNP without an overall majority will be off the hook, the Green's poodle, and as far as Independence is concerned we have no chance.

I read Kate's comment with interest..I have looked at Alliance to Liberate Scotland..am holding their leaflet in my hand right now... Why them? ..the one word I look for instantly...INDEPENDENCE...looks like it will be them. Same with ISP, Colette Walker was the first one to come out with a new INDY party after her disgust at the SNP.. The Alex Came out with ALBA, and proving she was not someone just looking to get a seat in HR, she allowed her party to step aside, come off the ballot paper to allow ALBA a better chance of getting Alex back in HR...
We all know how that went, the SNP preferred to see him in JAIL, not one Scottish journalist or broadcaster gave their backing to ALBA. & the SNP as the party for INDEPENDENCE made sure his life was over..
ATLS have some good decent people in there who have been fighting for Independence all of their lives, UNLIKE the green who do not see Independence as a priority.. Support has to be earned. At no time has ATLS in any of its guises sought to earn my support. Instead, they've always done what you are doing – demanding support in the manner of some entitled arse and castigating me for not giving unquestioning support.

In every exchange I've had with members or supporters of ATLS they have acted as if it was up to me to justify not supporting them. They never gave me a reason why I should.
From the outset, I sought to find out what ATLS's plan was for restoring independence. I asked repeatedly of various people to see the plan. I wanted to see the process they had identified as being the way to go about restoring independence. I asked because I wanted to be able to support them. That's right! It was the same with Alba. I wanted to support them. But they never gave me a reason to do so.
I had enough of this shit with the SNP. That is why I will not take a nominally pro-independence party seriously unless they demonstrate that they've thought the thing through and are not just using independence as an electioneering device. Neither Alba nor ATLS ever even tried to convince me they'd thought things through. In both cases, they behaved as if I had no right to ask such questions. They immediately labelled me the enemy just because I asked a question that any party worth taking seriously would have been prepared to answer.
Finally, the ATLS election campaign has been woeful. Worse even than Alba. You probably can't see it, but I'll tell you what it looks like from the perspective of a voter. Your entire campaign message has been 'Vote for us because if you do, we could win, and here's some arithmetic to prove it.' That's it! That's all there is! It's the most inane campaign messaging I have ever encountered. It's the kind of campaign messaging you'll get from people who think they're entitled to votes and don't have to earn them. It is disrespectful towards voters.
I realise, of course, that you'll just reject all of this out of hand and without any consideration. That's what I have learned to respect. I have learned a lot. When ATLS started I was genuinely trying be helpful and constructive. As I did with Alba Party, I saw the potential for ATLS. All I got in return was abuse.

If I post that they are liars, it is because I have identified a lie. Shouldn't you be castigating the ones doing the lying? Or if you think I have misidentified something as a lie, why not try explaining to me why it is not to be considered a lie?
If I identify similarities between the SNP and some other nominally pro-independence parties, it is because I recognise those similarities. You could offer a reasoned counterargument. But you don't. You just complain about the fact that I have identified a similarity which you don't like.
